With the rise of artisan decor this year, it was only a matter of time before we saw beaded decor pieces make their way into the spotlight.  Woven decor has been very popular this year, but we’re now starting to see more and more beaded accents.  So, what are your beaded home decor options?

Beaded Home Decor

When I think of beaded decor my mind automatically goes to beads hanging in a doorway.  I can’t say that I’ve ever been a fan of those.  Luckily, there are a ton of other ways to incorporate beads into your room design.

  1. Beaded Candle Holders – Beautifully colored beads strung together to make candle holders and chandeliers are a great decoration to have.  They’re interesting to look at and the beads add a layer of texture to your overall design.

  2. Beaded Plates and Chargers – If you’re planning to layout a showstopping tablescape for your next gathering, consider adding beaded chargers to your table setting.  Placemats and table runners made of woven beads are other great options.

  3. Beaded Embroidery – Look for beaded embroidery on throw pillows, quilts, and curtains.  This added detail will give your home a well curated and refined style.

  4. Wooden Bead Garland – By now you’ve probably seen this particular accent all over Pinterest and Instagram in decor vignettes.  Wooden bead garland is also a popular DIY; and for good reason.  This accent can be placed just about anywhere for a rustic, eclectic, or boho look.  It’s a simple accent with a big impact.  You can nestle it around items in a tray, or wrap it around a candlestick.  There are a lot of options for this one and they’re easy to make yourself.
