3 Dollar Tree Fall Decor Finds Worth the Price Hike

While not every higher-priced item feels like a bargain, some pieces are so good they’re worth every penny. These Dollar Tree fall decor finds rival what you’d pay two or three times as much for at other retailers, and the best part? They’re items you can bring out year after year without them looking dated or cheap.
Below are three fall decor finds that delivers big style for a small price. But first, let’s talk briefly about the price hike and what to expect in the future.
Dollar Tree Price Hike
Just when we were all getting used to items being $1.25 and the introduction of the Dollar Tree Plus section, prices are changing once again.
So, what should you expect to pay next time you walk into Dollar Tree?
The base price for lots of items is still $1.25.
Some cleaning products and tools are now $1.50, along with certain seasonal items, organizational and office supplies, and certain florals.
The personal care items, candy, small toys and crafts, and basic kitchen utensils are all still $1.25.
The big change, however, is the removal of the dedicated “Plus” section or aisle. Items $3 and up have now been rebranded as “More Choices” and are sprinkled throughout the store.
Essentially, Dollar Tree is just like any other retailer now, where you have to check prices for every item. If anything, that’s what made Dollar Tree unique. It was an easier shopping experience when everything was $1.00. You could grab anything, count up the number of items in your baskets, and have your total. Eazy peazy.
Lots of us learned how to pay for things and count our change when as kids at Dollar Tree. The flat rate prices lent to simplified math at the checkout and an easier shopping experience overall.
Unfortunately, this is something we’re all going to have to say goodbye to. That being said, there are now higher-quality items and better designs to choose from at Dollar Tree.
Even at $5, $6, and $7 price points, some of the decorative items are still a deal compared to other retailers.
Dollar Tree Fall Decor Worth Every Penny
On a recent visit to Dollar Tree, I spotted a few items that stopped me in my tracks. They’re more than $1.25 but most definitely worth every penny.
Look for these Dollar Tree fall decor items next time you’re in store.
1. Halloween and Fall Themed Door Leaners – $7 (48 inches)
At 48 inches tall, these wooden door leaners make a big statement for your front porch, entryway, or even inside your home against a blank wall. The designs range from candy corn-inspired “Trick or Treat” graphics to cheerful jack-o’-lantern faces—perfect for adding a pop of personality to your seasonal display.
Why they’re worth it: Similar-sized seasonal door leaners at stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels typically cost $20–$40, even on sale. The Dollar Tree version offers a substantial size, bold colors, and weather-resistant finishes at a fraction of the price. Plus, you can use them year after year for Halloween and general fall decorating.
Styling tip: Layer your leaner with a seasonal doormat and a few pumpkins for an inviting entryway display.
2. Printed Fleece Throw Blankets – $6 (50 x 60 inches)
These soft, cozy fleece throws come in four different autumn-ready prints—think warm plaids, leaf patterns, and seasonal motifs that instantly make your living space feel more inviting.
Why they’re worth it: Comparable throws at Target or HomeGoods can run $12–$20. At $6, these are perfect for tossing over a sofa, layering at the foot of your bed, or even using as picnic blankets for fall outings.
Styling tip: Keep one draped over your favorite reading chair or basket in the living room for quick access on chilly evenings. They’re also a great, budget-friendly way to swap out summer textiles for a fall color palette.
3. Rattan Mushroom and Acorn Decor – $7 (approx. 6 inches)
These adorable rattan accent pieces—shaped like mushrooms and acorns—add texture and charm to tabletops, mantels, and shelves. The natural material makes them versatile enough to work with many decor styles, from farmhouse to boho.
Why they’re worth it: Similar decorative rattan pieces at Pottery Barn or World Market can cost $15–$25 for the same size. These Dollar Tree versions have a handcrafted look that works beautifully in fall displays and can even be incorporated into your everyday decor once the season ends.
Styling tip: Cluster a few together on a large tray, or arrange them into a centerpiece with candles, pinecones, and faux leaves for a cozy, layered look.
Conclusion
Dollar Tree’s rising prices may have shoppers pausing before adding seasonal items to their cart, but some finds are worth the small splurge.
These $6 and $7 pieces—oversized door leaners, plush throw blankets, and charming rattan accents—offer style, quality, and reusability that rival much pricier options.
If you’re looking to refresh your fall decor without overspending, these are the pieces to grab before they’re gone.
