One of my favorite things to do is to discover new places to shop for home goods.

I usually find them when Iโ€™m out shopping at another store I frequent and take a moment to say โ€œI wonder what that Angel Decor place is all the way on the end of the sidewalkโ€?

Then, I take a few minutes to walk down and check it out.

Where to Shop for Affordable Home Goods Online

This activity does not translate online so easily, however.

We all know the world wide web is a big place.ย  And you would think itโ€™s easy to find thousands or tens of thousands of places to shop for home goods online.

Yet, due to search engine optimization and advertiser cookies, we tend to see the same big sites pop up all the time.

And while Iโ€™m a big fan of Target and Walmart for budget-friendly home decor.ย  There are so many other places to shop online.

Iโ€™m particularly, in tune with this, being a small online decor shop myself.

So, I thought Iโ€™d share some of the places that Iโ€™ve found online where you can buy affordable home decor and have it shipped directly to your doorstep.

1. CountryDoor.com

First up is Country Door.ย  This site is part of a family of websites owned by Colony Brands.ย  Theyโ€™ve been around for a long time and have sister sites like Ginnyโ€™s, Midnight Velvet, and others.

Each of these holds a primary focus on one category, but there is a lot of crossover.

For instance, you may see the same pillow set on CountryDoor.com that you see on Ginnys.com, but the vast majority of Ginnyโ€™s stuff is kitchen and cookware.

That being said, if you want to browse for decorative items check out Country Door.

If you want to see what else they have to offer on other sites, navigate to the footer at the bottom of the page and youโ€™ll find links to all of the Colony Brands websites.

2. Shein.com

You may have heard about Shein for inexpensive trendy womenโ€™s clothing, but they also sell really cheap home decor as well.ย  Just select the Lifestyle & Home tab from the menu bar at the top and youโ€™ll find a ton of home accessories.

One thing Iโ€™ll note about their selection is that you need to read the titles and descriptions carefully.

They have a ton of cute pillows, however, the vast majority of those shown are just the pillow covers without the filling.

Some of the storage boxes may be smaller than you expect as well.ย  So just look carefully at dimensions and other details.

That being said, they have a ton of cute stuff at really affordable prices.

3. Aliexpress.com & Wish.com

Iโ€™m grouping Aliexpress and Wish into the same category because theyโ€™re basically the same thing.ย  However, if Iโ€™m choosing a winner, Iโ€™ll go with Aliexpress.

Both of these are international online marketplaces with the vast majority of their sellers being based in China.ย  This means, youโ€™re going to find incredible deals, but youโ€™ll likely have to wait 6 โ€“ 8 weeks for your stuff to arrive.

The same rules apply here as with Shein.ย  Double check descriptions and sizes before you order so youโ€™re sure you know what youโ€™re getting.

4. Aldi.co.uk

If youโ€™re in the United States, you can browse Aldiโ€™s special buys and home decor offerings online, but youโ€™ll have to purchase in-store.ย  If youโ€™re in the UK, however, youโ€™ve hit the jackpot.

Aldi has just introduced their Garden Shop where theyโ€™re selling patio furniture and other outdoor decor directly from their website.

Fingers crossed, that upgrade will be coming to the US Aldi site soon.

5. UrbanOutfitters.com

When I think of Urban Outfitters I think of clothes.ย  But, in actuality, they offer a rather large selection of home accessories.ย  The prices are a bit on the high side, but you can find some really beautiful pieces on their website.

Their bedding looks really luxurious and I find their dinnerware sets to be reasonably priced.

6. SaksOffFifth.com

If youโ€™re looking for a more high-end look, but donโ€™t want to pay for it, check out SaksOffFifth.com.ย  You can usually find great deals on serveware and dinnerware.

I still find some things like throw blankets, pillows, and framed art to be more than Iโ€™m personally willing to pay.ย  But there are great deals to be found on designer brands.

7. HM.com

Much like Urban Outfitters, I picture a clothing only selection when I think of H&M.ย  But, their home collection H&M Home has some interesting offerings.

If you like the boho or vintage glam style, youโ€™re likely to find some lovely pieces at affordable prices.

8. NordstromRack.com

The Nordstrom Rack website functions much like Saks Off Fifth.ย  Itโ€™s the collection of discounted goods that are either out of season, were overstocked, or otherwise moved to make room for the new offerings at Nordstrom.

One thing worth noting is, you should approach both Nordstrom Rack and Saks Off Fifth like you would Home Goods or Marshalls.

Once itโ€™s gone, itโ€™s gone.ย  So if you see something you like, buy it because it usually wonโ€™t be restocked.

These are closeout stores, so donโ€™t dawdle too much when deciding whether or not to buy.

9. HomeDepot.com

In a previous post called โ€œHome Depotโ€™s Hidden Gemsโ€ I really dove into the home decor offerings from The Home Depot.

I suspect most people are unaware that The Home Depot offers home accessories, and to no fault of their own.ย  Almost none of their home decor collection is offered in store.

So, if you donโ€™t have any reason to order from their website, you wouldnโ€™t have noticed the home decor tab in the navigation.ย  But its there and the selection is spectacular.ย  The prices are good too.ย  Highly recommend.

10. Build.com

In a similar vein to The Home Depot, Build.com also offers home accents and accessories.ย  In fact, I think thereโ€™s a bit of crossover between the vendors on each site.ย  You may find the same thing offered on both with the same or similar pricing.
